Easy night run with Drendel. Was out fishing all day and the real feel was 107 so that combined with the fact that I ate dinner 30 minutes before this run meant I knew I was setting myself up for a rough one. Surprisingly enough, it ended up being really nice. A storm had just rolled in and while the humidity was still super high, the temperature dropped a bit and that made a big difference. Was nice catching up with Nick again and getting to run with him. Went out from the Scoop back towards my house on the Riverwalk. Nick pooped at the gas station and I just did a bunch of loops around it waiting for him to come out. Once he did we took Naper back towards school and finished it up with the Lincoln Park Tempo warmup loop. Bummed no long run this week but I'll definitely get another quality one in soon, weather just made it near-impossible to do. Legs felt decent so overall a successful cap to a ridiculously hot and humid week!
