Pretty Shitty Weather outside once again. Mother nature just doesn't know when to make up here mind. It was pretty chilly the whole time and the wind sucked pretty bad, although fortunantley it was still better than Chicagolands last week. Got out in pretty good position and just focused on staying smooth every time we turned into the wind. Even though Johnny lead the whole race the wind was still pretty rough. Worked with Kerley and Goose the last mile really well and once we hit 300 to go I told myself to kick and tried to help us catch up as close to Johnny as possible. Ended up closing in a 30 or so for our last 200 and that was straight into the wind. Pretty happy with the race despite the slow time, but weather was the factor in that. Gonna give it another try this next weekend! It's gonna happen I can already feel it, now I just gotta do it.
