Notes

Headed on over to the Vaughan center after class to get in a 3 mile shakeout. Temp had dropped and the whole point of doing a shakeout is to loosen up, so I didn't want to run 3 miles and just be tight the whole time. Jumped on the indoor track and did the usual jog 5, stride 1 and was surprised to see that I ran a 6:40. Thought maybe it was just a fluke but then after I saw I was cruising 6 low afterwards on my easy portions I just figured I'd roll with it. Felt good on turnover and aside from gas/stomach cramps this run felt very good! Funny how wind can make a 5:40 mile feel like death one day and then running one on the track feels easy. Big turnaround from this morning too so all-in-all a short quality run!
