Notes

Building Steady Tempo warmup followed by 3x(2,3,4 minutes) w/1 minute jog rest in-between reps and sets.

Tempo: Wasn't really that hard, but that was the whole point. We kept a pretty smooth pace despite some parts of the road being really slushy. I ate at Tom & Eddy's around 11:30 which really messed up my stomach for this workout. It was definitely my fault but that's alright. Legs felt strangely heavy and tired for most of this despite the easier pace.

Fartlek: Did these on the Riverwalk which kinda sucked at certain times but overall was definitely the best place to do it. On the first set, we all stayed together and progressively built through each one. On the second set things started to get harder and both my stomach and legs felt blegh. Coming down Rotary the 2nd time a big move was made and that on top of the ice spread out the group. Johnny Root and Troy were ahead and then it was Luke, Ben and I followed by everyone else. On the last set I was definitely feeling cruddy but surprisingly started to feel better on the 3 minute one. Last rep Ben broke away and Luke was right behind me but we still were rolling. Overall, a good workout for how shitty I felt. Just ran back to school for a cooldown and called it a day. Hips were sore afterwards but no shin or calf pain!
