Blackwell

Notes

Hot and Humid today, not the best combination for a workout. Ethan's workout was a 40 minute progression and 4xBlackwell hills but we changed it to a 32 minute progression and 3xBlackwell hills cause we both felt shitty. Pace for the progression was 5.19 miles at 6:04 pace which was actually not bad considering the first 10 minutes were like 7:10 pace. Last 2 miles were 5:20-5:30 and I was feeling pretty shitty. Ethan almost dropped the last 3 minutes but hung tough. Easy jogged to the hill and then stretched and did 3 hills. Ethan dusted me on the first one but I passed him on the recovery and then ran the last 2 by myself. Felt OK for the first 2 and considered doing 4 but my soul broke on the 3rd one and by the time I got to the top I was pouring sweat. Still ran 6:08 for 3 ups and 2 downs so not bad. 16 minute cool down after. Shorts were soaked and I was covered in sweat, still glad to get this in though.
