Jumped in with the Mid-Distance guys today for their workout. Workout was just 8x150 with 150 meter walk rest but it actually was anerobically tough because I haven't gone this fast in...well a really long time haha. Probably didn't help that I did long run yesterday but I was using this just to shock my system before Sunday because I haven't had time to build up to tempos or other workouts yet. It felt very strange going this quick, did these in the Guides but was surprised to see that I locked into a nearly identical pace the entire time and was actually able to hold a fast pace. My form began to slip a little bit on the last 2 and my arms got super super heavy. Foot handled today better than yesterday which I was very happy with too! Short mileage day but effective!
