Notes
Woke up late today at 7:10, just one of those rare times where I turned off my alarm and went back to sleep. Got a small sip of water, changed, and was at school by 7:25. Nobody was there so I assumed the meeting was done and they were headed to McDowell since long run day takes so long so I pretty much just jumped out of the car and ran. The lack of any warmup, no water, just waking up, and it being hot as hell led to a rough first few miles. My legs were so tight and shot and I went through in 7:24 and I was trying really hard. Finally was able to open up a bit once I hit McDowell but when I hit the bathrooms I realized the boys hadn't come out here yet so I turned around and headed back. Ran into the boys on the path once I got back under the train tracks. Had about a random mile in there where I ran with Ashton and Baganz (which explains parts of miles 6 & 7). When we got back to the Dam I saw Will was headed back so I joined him and headed back to school. A very strange run for a very strange start to the day but glad I was able to meet up with the group. Drank a ton of water when we got back to school.
