Fun race today at ISU! Went out with Johnny and Yonny and for the first 2 miles we constantly had to battle for position. I actually felt really good at this point, although once we caught up to Root I started to feel it. We crossed the 5K in around 15:45 and then I don't know what happened but I began to fall off a bit. Yonny was right behind me so that helped me but it got a bit sticky for part 3 today. I took a few funny steps during the race and felt my shin when it happened but i made sure to just tune it out. Had a good part 4 at least and passed a couple guys(one from Augie too so thats always a plus). I started my kick too late, if I had done it just 50 meters earlier I would have passed around 8 guys who I know i can get. Just gonna have to wait till next time, but overall amazing team race!!! Way better than last year! and some of the announcers talked about us during the race! Were doing great and it can only go up from here
