Working on maybe an hour of sleep last night yet I felt real strong today. Headed out early and never hit the wall. I broke the run into 3 segments of 7 miles and they played out like this:
Segment 1: 8:48 pace
Segment 2: 8:16 pace
Segment 3: 7:35 pace w/ a strong finish.
Nutrition: 500 calories 2 hours before start. 2GU and 100 calories of HEED during run. 34oz of water. Drank every 2 miles from 8 on.
