Crushed it! 6 weeks of sweet spot training really paid off.
New FTP= 380
FTP/Kg= 4.2
If I loose some weight down to 185 increase my FTP to close to 400 my FTP/Kg would be a ridiculous 4.7!
U need to explain this stuff to me or attach a link

Power based workout. Your FTP is essentially what you can maintain on the bike for 60 mins in terms of wattage output. I assess every 6 weeks. A rider is rated essentially by their FTP per KG they weigh. One way to increase power is to loose weight the other way is specific workout. I do lots of "sweet spot" workout in the winter which are usually 60-90 mins in length. They are difficult enough were they require a lot of concentration but easy enough where you recover rater quickly.

...So living in CT and being a long distance triathlete, I use the winter to build up a huge amount of strength. Once the days start to get longer I will begin including some longer rides on the road to add some endurance to the equation. My goal is to be very Chris Lieto-ish; top 25% swim, top 1% bike, top 10% run.
