Steady, moderate running will lay the groundwork for all subsequent run workouts. The goal of this type of training is to increase aerobic efficiency, increased capillary density, and slow-twitch fiber development. The goal is NOT to see how fast you can run! Stay relaxed and try to stick to softer surfaces such as trails and grass. Keep your heart rate in zone 1 and 2.

I will designate a specific numberdurationtiming of strides during this run. Focus on pefect form and quick turnover. Strides are not sprints!
