It was hotter than heck today! Ran the first 4 miles at about 9:30 pace or so. Ran the next 2 at what I thought was 8:20 pace, but my stupid garmin said it was 8:35 pace once I hit 2 miles though it said 8:20 for the whole time before that. Got discouraged and took a water break. Ran the next mile in 7:32 to make up for my slower miles 5 & 6. Ran the last mile in 8:17 - just under race pace goal of 8:20.
