Solid session at the Rail Trail today. Lungs felt great but legs felt heavy, so I didn't go with the move that John, Will, and Marco made. Still got what I was looking for today - 6 miles in around 5:20 pace. I was 32:18 for the total workout, splits were:
Happy with this considering the effort felt very controlled and I know that I didn't push myself too hard. After Skinripper on Wednesday and this being a huge volume week, I didn't think I needed to race this tempo. I'd much rather have a banger next Friday then today in practice. Racing is what counts, and I'm saving that for Beantown.
