First tempo of the season - 35 min with a goal pace of 5:40 per mile. I ended up hitting the goal, did 6.25 miles in 35 minutes, averaging 5:37 pace for the whole thing. I felt pretty good (only tough part was first 2/3 of the third lap), especially considering that I ran 11.5 last night and did this in the AM before work. I only got 1.56 mile splits (one loop around the Chestnut Hill Reservoir), and they were:
8:38 (5:32 pace)
8:45 (5:36 pace)
8:57 (5:44 pace)
8:39 (5:32 pace)
Overall, pretty happy with this session.
