Did a similar workout to last week. Format was 5 x 1000m @ CV (~3:00 goal pace) with 75s rest, 3 min jog, 4 x 30s hill at mile effort with 90s rest, 3 min jog, and then 4 x 15s strides at 800 effort with 30s rest. Splits for the 1000m reps were 3:01, 3:01, 3:04, 3:01, 3:01. I felt decent during the workout but it was harder than last week. A little tougher b/c a tad tired from the faster long run and strides, stress from gf stuff, copious amounts of wine/cheese during christmas eve etc. Left achilles and thigh were a little bit sore. Overall solid workout, but I'm excited to train with the rest of the team.
