Run felt really difficult from the end of mile 1 to the end of 4.5. After that, it was really easy, but of course was mostly downhill. I think it's really helping that, ever since last run, I'm not looking at my watch on the run. I'm just letting my body run "how it feels". That seems to be working out really well on a mental level. I don't feel as discouraged by looking at my watch and seeing that I'm running slowly, which would normally make me feel defeated. I think in part because of that, I endd up running a lot faster today than I anticipated. Tomorrow will be an easy 3 during my lunch break in anticipation of a 9 miler the next day, and a 10 miler two days after that.

The next step is to begin really understanding my heartrate data and how to interpret it.
