Notes

Absolutely great workout in shelby bottoms, decreasing ladder of intervals, 5mi, 4mi, 3mi. We kind of came up with it on the fly as a group by accident. We had an easy 2 mile warmup then we started the first interval on the greenway. We were going to turn around after the first 2 but Tim was mid story so Nathan (pace master) waited until 2.5 to call the turn (as an aside on the way back Tim pointed at a trail that was supposed to be 0.3 so I took it as a goof, it turned out to be the 0.9 mile trail so I was chasing them down the rest of the interval which is why I have a random 7:05 mile in there). Second intervals we did go out 2 and turn and then after a quick pit stop we went out and turned onto the boogie 5K loop which brought us back to the beginning and finished at pace around the lake for a final interval of 3miles. We did 1 mile around the ball fields and then went to Fido. Weather was perfect, although Tim said it felt like breathing thru a straw in a refrigerator, I can only hope Chicago is something like this. This was also the morning of the Women's half I felt bad not to spectate but I really wanted to get this workout in. But GO TEAM ISABEL, our girls won! and Sue Ann got 2nd overall with a 1:29!!!
