Old Natchez Trace Blizzard run of 2013. Only wanted 13 or 14, group was doing 17/18 so I planned on coming about 40 minutes after they started and meeting them as they were finishing the Moran out and back. Snow started about the time I was getting up, by the time I got in my car to go the roads were covered and slick. Pretty treacherous but luckily almost no traffic at 7am. Snow was blowing in from the south which made the first leg to Moran pretty painful. Only saw tracks going out on Moran not coming back so I knew I hadn't missed them so I started down Moran, I had to go out farther to meet them than I thought I would but at least the snow wasn't in my face going east or coming back west. Saw several packs some with our group some with another. Snow finally stopped as we were going out Del Rio. The way back I felt like I ran out of gas pretty hard. Water at Moran 1 mile from the end felt like a life saver. Roads were melting by that time as well.
