T and I got horrendously lost in 30 degrees plus! To add insult to injury, my cheapo mountain bike gears broke completely leaving me to go back and T by the side of the road ... Lots of doubling back, bad decisions, Deux Ecluses, heat, but we survived! MTB only worked free wheeling downhill at the end, leaving me pushing it on the ups ...
Glad to get back in the (gorgeous) pool at last. Was only supposed to be 40 minutes...
