Or 2 hours maybe. Wow. Minus 7 must be close to the possible limit for kayaking, but actually felt very warm. River more frozen as we finished than at the start (8:30am) - every ice type from Arctic Dreams was there - freezing slush, brash, growlers, bergy bits - crunching through mainly doing 1 min on / 1 min off, up and downstream, in singles from King's boathouse. Ice inch thick on the backwaters, freezing thick on the boat (nearly the Fram) and pogies. Quite tired by the end. Glad to end without mishap.
