Home to Gilbert Scar, on the tifosi. Into a cold northerly wind, slightly under-dressed, struggling with the gears and the hills, stopping constantly to look at the map ... you get the idea. It was ok, but felt long and unsatisfying, as if I have quite a lot to learn.
