Dropped in Carnforth (after walk w S and J at Silverdale - boys at Xns in Sport) - along the canal home. So, so, so slow after 13 miles or so yesterday! Let's say 1+1/2 hours and you'll get the idea. Not quite a death march, but that threat loomed over this ill-advised venture. Canal quite pleasant, quite a few joggers and cyclists out in nice weather.
