to Ambleside. Got lost nr Milnthorpe and surprised to find myself cycling along the edge of the estuary sandflats! That answered the qu of whether I really needed to take a map with me. Fine apart from that, though got a bit weary (as you do) on the endless tough little ups-and-downs of the Lyth road. Nice weather. Roads quite busy.
