Cold, rainy, windy day so rather than taking splits I jumped in and did a workout. They were doing 4x(1000, 60sec rest, 600, 2 min rest) and since there isn't a huge point in me doing 600s quicker I just decieded to run the first 1000 with them then continue on for another while they recovered and did there 600.
I felt really good, this was a bit slow but I think it was probably about 12k-15k pace effort.
