Notes
Weather: 40 deg with little wind. Cold enough to wear long/short sleeves, beanie and gloves.
Workout: 2 miles warmup, 10 miles working from 5:50 to 5:40, 1 mile cooldown.
Ran 3 loops of the downtown loop and then the last mile on Revolution. First 3-mile loop felt good and smooth. The second loop still felt good, but not as smooth as the first. Felt like I was working a little more, which I was because the pace dropped to 5:43s. The third loop (miles 7-9) actually felt better than the 2nd loop even though the pace was faster. The last mile was a little tough with the slight gradual incline.
Overall, a very good run. I feel like 5:43-5:45 pace seems manageable for 26.2 miles.
