Nice and cool 64 deg.

Workout: 3 miles warm-up, 2 miles at sub 10:30, 1/2 mile jog, a mile at sub 5:10, 1/2 mile jog, 8x60s fast with 60s jog, 2 miles cooldown

Felt really smooth on the 2 miles. I consistently hit 78s and came through 1600 in 5:12, 10:23 for the 2 miles. I actually thought that the 2 miles would feel a bit harder and have me huffing and puffing, but it really felt like a good solid tempo running. The mile felt tough on the last lap, probably because I took it out hard on lap 1. Splits for the mile was 73, 77, 76, 76 (5:02).

For the 8x60s, I decided to stay on the track. I knew by running this on the track I would likely force myself to run sub 5:00 pace. I kept all the reps at around 4:45ish pace. I checked my watch at a 200 mark and noticed that I'd come through in about 35s. Eight reps was good enough.

Great workout overall. I'm on the right track to running very fast in the upcoming races.
