Notes
Weather: chilly morning, 40 deg with little wind. Warmed up to about low 50s towards the end of the run.
Workout: 20 miles long run with last 5 miles at sub-5:45.
Ran two loops around Flatwoods Park. I actually felt sluggish in the first mile. Once I found my rhythm I felt smooth and comfortable running 6:43ish and then 6:35ish pace. The last 5 miles at sub-5:45 pace went well. It wasn't easy but it also wasn't extremely tough. Switching gears from 6:30ish pace to sub-5:45 was a little uncomfortable, but after about a 1/2 mile I found my stride.
Really good long run six days after the half.
