Nice and chilly.
Workout: 3 miles warmup, 16x60s on/off at sub 5:10 pace with SLOW jog, 2 miles cooldown.
Legs felt pretty good during the warmup, so I figured the fartlek would go fairly well. During the first couple reps I looked at my watch to see what sub 5:10 pace felt like. Was a bit surprised that 5:00-5:10 pace felt pretty smooth without breathing too hard. Ran low 5:00 pace for the first half and then just under 5:00 pace for most of the second half. Covered 3.2 miles for the on's and 2 miles for the recovery.
Seems like the legs recovered well from the ten-miler.
