Wow, the weather has been really nice the last few days. I just wish it would stay like this till July.
Workout: 12-14 miles. After seven miles, do four miles of 1/4 mile at 5:40-5:45 and a 1/4 mile at 6:45
Ran from Ballast Point to Davis Island and back. Ran at a comfortable easy pace for the first 7 miles. I didn't think I would get down to 6:40ish pace until about five miles in, but I was hitting 6:40-6:45 pace by mile 3. At the turnaround, I ran at about marathon effort making sure i wasn't running to fast. While I was a little on the fast end, the pace felt smooth and controlled. The 1/4 rec jog at 6:45 felt fine.
I thought that I'd feel rusty, but that wasn't the case. I'd say that I'm almost fully recovered from Boston.
