Long run with workout: 2M easy + 4 x 1M tempo w/ 1' rest + 1hr easy + 3M tempo + 2M easy
Wasn't sure how the legs were going to feel after yesterday's fit camp where I did a lot of lateral movements. Turned out the legs felt fine. Ran the entire workout in the Scott's Mill neighborhood. After an easy 2 miles, I started the 4 x 1M tempo from my street intersection (Scarecrow) and on to Nessee and Yellowbrick. I went out 1mile, 1' rest, 1mile back, 1' rest and then did it again. Splits were 5:30, 5:24, 5:23, & 5:19. I then ran 1hr easy and covered 9 miles (6:41 pace). For the 3M tempo I ran the Scott's Mill loop (1.75) twice. Splits were 5:44, 5:36 & 5:39. Happy with the tempo and overall workout. Definitely like where my fitness is at with 12 weeks out from Boston.
