Cool at 47 deg; Roads were wet from early morning rain. Glad it wasn't raining when I got out the door.
Workout: 3 miles w/u, 4 miles of 30s on, 2:30 at 6:15, 3 miles cooldown.
The top of my left big toe where the toe flexes still hurts a bit. It's in the early miles of the run that it most hurts.
Ran the fartlek workout on a 2-mile loop around the neighborhood. The route has a little bit of slight hills, but nothing too hard. The 30s felt nice and fast, and I averaged somewhere around 4:45-4:50 pace. The 2:30 moderate recoveries felt fine and I never really had any issues with hitting the pace. In fact I was probably closer to 6:10ish for the recoveries. Overall, a good workout that didn't take a whole lot out of me. Hopefully I'll be ready for Saturday's workout.
