Workout: 2 miles warmup, 2 miles at 5:45, 2 miles at 5:30, 2 miles cooldown.

What a complete opposite from yesterday. Legs felt very heavy in yesterday's easy run, but they felt pretty darn good this morning. Ran the 4 miles tempo on the high school track. Felt really comfortable for the first two miles (5:41, 5:41). I was a few seconds faster than 5:45 pace, but the pace felt smooth and efficient. The last two miles were also on the fast end, but it wasn't like I was forcing the pace. Ran 5:26 and 5:24 for the last two miles and 22:13 for 6400m.

Really glad I felt good in this workout because in the last couple days the legs felt like bricks. I have to remind myself that it's normal to feel like crap during taper week.
