Weather: cold and a little windy.
Decided to run the local 5K since there was cash prize for the overall winner. It was my first 5K in over two years. Previous winners were in the 17s, so I thought that I'd be able to win without going too hard.
A couple college kids went out hard and put about 30m on me. About a mile I caught one guy and then the other about a half mile later. Was running right around 5:20 pace. I cruised the last half of the race about the same pace and won by about 35 seconds. Overall, it felt nice and comfortable. Got a little cash ($100) out of it.
