First run at 8,000 ft. elavation. I thought the HM was out of sync when reading at 165 - 166, but after 1 mile,
I slowed to a walk and the heart rate began to drop. From that point on, I tried to stay between 125 & 132. Found myself running for 20 to 30 seconds and walking for another minute. One good thing learned... I was able to run for over a mile at near my max heart rate with still more to give. I don't know how much more, but I still had some to give. Tomorrow back to MAFFing and lot's of walking at this altitude. TL = 160.
