Ran at the tempo loop today due to the high school meet at the arb. Ran with Julia and Richard today, in order to get myself to not take races out so hard I need to build that into my workouts (the goal of this workout was to start at 10-15 sec slower than 6k race pace and progress faster each mile until you're at 6k race pace). But running with Richard and Julia doesn't allow for that since at Aurora my race pace was like 10-15 sec slower than Julia. So I ran 3 race pace (ish) miles and then dropped to see if any of the other girls needed a pacer and helped Riley finish a speedy last mile. Felt alright during these miles it never felt like I was all out sprinting to keep up, I did fall off of Richard and Julia a little on the second mile and about halfway through the third mile. Just gotta get tougher. Core after and rolled and did mobility when I got home/before work
I submitted an application for the Boston Marathon today
Today at Legends a girl asked me to give her number to a hot french guy sitting at another table. I did and he texted her. And these girls tipped me a bunch for my efforts. I did the same for Mariela's roommate Cassie and she got a text from some guy Mariela pointed to for me to give her number to, I'm always happy to help with match making
