Very happy with this race! This was my first outdoor track 5k and i think it went pretty well! 5:47 for the first mile and 11:55 for the second. Towards the last 4 or 5 laps I was running with a Notre Dame girl and we kept trying to pass each other until I outkicked her at the last 100m. I think my good races come when I have someone trying to beat me like that and i put in lots of little efforts to get away from them.
