Solid first race with Emma B. Felt pretty good and strong throughout. It's my second XC 5k and a 52 second PR from Parkside. I've never ever had someone help me out stride for stride in a race. When I was tired she would push and when she was tired I would push the pace. Super grateful to have such a good teammate. Both my parents came and brought Fin. He was super excited to eat grass, watch mobs of people run by, and after the race I gave him half my cup of water. Followed by dinner at el toro.
