The goal for the tempo was 6:40-6:45 and I got that but this felt harder than I would have liked. Sometimes your legs just don't have it in them but these are the workouts that make you tougher. We started off as a nice squad, I was running with Leonel and Julia for the most part. Julia said she was feeling good at mile 2 and her and Leonel started speeding up. I wasn't feeling super super great and I knew the hard mile was coming so I let them go and tried to stay steady. Pierre ran with me for a hot minute but then the rest of the time was just spent trying to not have the gap between Leonel and Julia and me get too big and hoping the rest of my group would catch me. Muneeb caught me in the last minute of the tempo and that was nice to finish and nice to chase him for the hard mile. The hard mile felt kinda like a tempo but eh. During this workout it was like I could consciously feel my legs getting tighter. Pacing Leah for the workout tomorrow ayyyyeeee

No splits for the tempo because my watch was extra low battery but I know the first mile was 6:40 and we were at 13:17 at the second (ish) mile

Currently 74 people signed up for regionals...and 29 women!!!!!

I'm feeling quite similar in terms of being "heavy" and such. Boy, am I excited to taper :) @richard, I agree whole heartedly lol
