Big shout out to Adam Bruyere for helping me pace this!
We ran faster than our 3:47-3:50 goal times for the 1k's but I think I was just excited to get going on the workout and that I had a workout partner.
During the 400's, after the second one, ryan came up to us and asked what our times were and said we needed to be running between 80-82 which I almost laughed at but Adam was confident we could do it. I really don't think I would have had fast times and progressed faster without Adam. We had a good technique for pacing and he would run a little in front of me but never far enough away that I felt like I was falling away and dying or never too close to me where I felt like he wasn't being helpful. It felt like I was running a workout with my high school coach again, so Adam while I hope your achilles gets better I really appreciated having you in my workout group
Ryan seeded me at 11:22 for a 3k for GVSU. My birthday is 11-22 so isn't that magical, I'll just have to run that time
