Emma convinced me to run the workout earlier at the arb with her for her shins and I'm happy I did because we worked well together and I could be a big fatty at the pot luck and eat as much as I wanted.

The workout was decent. I'm not as fast or in shape as I want to be. My goal is to be in good shape by club relays. There were times in this workout where I felt some twinges in my hip but nothing too painful where I had to stop/not finish the workout. 400's sucked a little bit. I don't want to say the arb played too big of a role in our performances during this workout but...well it was grass and muddy. But we felt tough afterwards and the effort was there. As long as my hip pain stays where it is or better goes away I think I'll be able to get more in shape/more speed/not feel like running fast is a struggle.

A cute lil chubby black lab ran up to Emma and I going into the second 400 and licked Emma's hands. Best part of the workout for sure
