Don't really know if doing a workout was the best idea with the hip/adductor thing but if I remain scared of it I don't know how long it would take me to think it is normal again.

Wanted to run the same route last time I did a 6 mile tempo and make sure I stayed more controlled. Did just that. Hills didn't seem as bad this time and the last mile was pretty much all downhill and with the wind so it was fast and very controlled. Familiar hip pain right on the side where it seems to attach to my leg at about 5 miles during a very long fast downhill. Hopefully didn't reaggravate it.
