Saturday I went running; running and climbing I have to write. Me and my dad took on the challenge to run from home to Mattustaful. He mountain-biked and I ran.

We started at home, which is 2,762 feet sea-level. 40 minutes later we passed Schratt (4,055 feet above sea-level). Another 30 minutes later we arrived at Mattustaful, which is 5,741 feet above sea-level.

The non-paved street was over there and my dad went home. I took a little trail with the goal to conquer our house-mountain, Gliserhorn, which is 8,284 feet above sea-level. This trail was so steep that I wasn't able to run it but rather climb. But about 30 minutes before arriving on the top I had to turn around because it got too cold and I was only wearing my jogging outfit. I got seriously the chill.

But I can write that in 2.5 hours I conquered a climb of almost 4,500 vertical meter. Downhill was even more brutal. It took me only 1 hour and 25 minutes to come back! Of course since two days I am in great pain in both of my legs but it's the good pain, you know.
