Notes
Was feeling really out of sorts at the beginning. Left quad/hip was bugging me. I was basically hobbling at the very start.
Got to the waterfall and really wasn't feeling much better. I loosened up a bit, but the quad/hip was still sore and I kinda just didn't want to be there. I decided to get to 3 miles and turn around.
On the way back, I took a bit of a break at the bottom of the waterfall and found a place to hide so I could water a couple bushes (rather busy trail.) Come to find out, Thomas Creek trail connected there. Something to explore down the road.
Finally, about the last 3/4 of a mile I started to feel ok. Not great, but just not bad anymore. I had a bit more energy and my legs had finally loosened up.
