Good race I suppose... goal was Sub 40. I knew it was a tad under 6:30 per mile..
Purposefully ran without garmin..
Mile 1: 6:15
Mile 2: 6:15 (up bridge)
5K split 19:30
Knew it was going to be tight and felt really bad during mile 5 & 6.. just held on for final miles and most likely gobbled up all the buffer time I had set in beginning miles but somehow under 40. Would have guessed I ran 2nd half slower but it appears a neg split.. maybe the delay in chip to race time means I really ran the first few miles at 6ish.. and the later miles more towards 6:45. Glad I didn't walk because shit hurt late. Ha. Boston in 2 weeks dunno what to expect.
