Odd run. It started out great. 28 degrees, no wind. There were some icy patches on the trail which you had to keep an eye out for, but overall it was very runnable. However, it was a misty morning. So by the time I was heading back, the trail didn't just have some icy PATCHES, it was starting to form a nice glaze over the WHOLE THING. I cut through a golf course that runs parallel to the path in order to avoid the slick pavement. Thankfully, the only time I was even close to taking a spill was at the very end, as I crossed my street and turned onto the sidewalk. I avoided the OBVIOUSLY icy part and end up on the less conspicuous ice. Maintained my balance...barely. Decided to just walk the last block home.
