Never felt good on this run but I never felt really bad either. Just kinda got the distance in. Made up the route as I went. Joyfully discovered a port-o-potty at the grade school about 1.5mi down President street. That's a very strategic location. Also realized that the playground at that school has a track painted along the perimeter of a side parking lot and some 50yard sprint lane painted in the middle too. Kinda cool. If I'm ever looking for an awful place to run repeats at, I'll know where to go. For the rest of the run I made my way down to the IPP and head northwest until I hit Jewel Rd and took that all the way out to CDH, took Winfield Rd up the Kline Creek and then took that and the Great Western trail home. Last few miles were kinda rough because I was out in the open and the sun was finally coming up and out from behind the clouds.
