"Long" run. Wanted to get 80-90min in before leaving for Kansas tomorrow. Hoping to get at least a bit of running in while I am gone but I know that I wont get much mileage in. As long as I get out the majority of the days, I'll be happy. Overall this was a great run. Cold but calm so I was able to bundle up and enjoy it. Took the prairie path out to Lincoln Marsh, did a loop and then continued out onto the Geneva spur which was super quiet and fantastic. Turned around at Prince Crossing and basically followed my steps back to downtown Wheaton and took front street home. Probably being a tad generous by calling this a full 12. I had an honest but easy pace most of the run but not enough to make up for my pathetically slow first couple of miles.
