Met up with Andy at 7am. It was thunderstorming when I woke up but the lightning/thunder were done by the time we started running. It was humid but the rain made it feel nice. Wound through some neighborhoods by Andy's house and eventually came out doing reverse extended modaff's section of Royce Rd and on into DuPage River Park. The new path is nice but it certainly messes up any XC meets that were potentially held there. Overall I felt good on this run and was encouraged that last evening's 8miler didn't seem to affect me too much. I'll admit that Andy's pace was a bit faster than I'm comfortable with but that's okay. I desperately need to be on runs that are out of my comfort zone if I want to cease being in very mediocre shape.
