Slow morning recovery run. I'm probably being generous calling this five miles. Oh well. Legs felt like I did my first hill workout in a while yesterday. Opened up throughout the run though and actually felt so-so by the end. The highlight of the run was the stretch through Northside Park. There was a dense mist over the lake. As I took the bridge over it I could look out and the see the sun juuuust starting to peak out over the tree line. Gorgeous. It's times like that which make getting out the door first thing in the morning worthwhile.
