So-so fartlek. These are the workouts that remind me that I've still got a long ways to go before I am where I want to be.

Basic structure of the workout was this: 1mi up, 1mi down, 2mi up, 1down, 1up, 1down, 1up. I was hoping to be under 6 for all the up miles but that didn't happen. First one was a super pathetic 6:25. I was just starting to get warmed up for that one so it doesn't REALLY count though. The 2mi was 6:05/6:04. Then I had a 6:08 and a 5:55 to finish. Down parts were a bit over 7min pace.

So I am glad to have gotten this workout in. It's money in the bank but it's also a reminder that I can't rest on my laurels. Planning on getting a good LR in this weekend as well as another workout (hills?). Taking a quick trip to Indianapolis tomorrow/wednesday. Should still be able to get runs in both days but we'll see what happens.

When do you plan on doing hills this week?

I won't be able to do Blackwell if you still wanted to get together. I haven't done hills in a while, and I can't jump into them. Everytime I do that, my groin acts up. I can do Four Lakes or huffman if you would like. After that, my body should be adapted enough to the hills where my groin won't act up and we can get together for a Blackwell workout sometime. Just not now. Hope you understand. Let me know either way.
